It's a beautiful shot, but if you don't say what the subject is, I might as well be looking at a fractal. I am presuming that it is a food item? I'd like to know what lens was used to take this.
This is quite a macro Sam. I love the detail here. The colors are quite cool as well. Thanks for providing a link to Grevillea Park. I did indeed check it out and poked around a bit and found out some interesting things about flowers native to Australia! Thanks for sharing this with us :~)
very good capture & as u may know i am slightly partial towards the macroscopic details on everyday things, this flower is not an everyday thing but it is very nicely capped :~)
I think it's your title that threw the first few commenters. To me they always look more like spun glass. This is probably the strangest of the group. Facinating the way the anthers grow in loops. Great color, focus and mystery
