Wow Sam, the color grabbed by eye instantly!! Are these Iris blossoms? I love the color that you have captured. The blue makes a very interesting background for that awesome shade of purple/violet of the flower. I agree that it looks a bit dreamy as well. Lovely shot my friend :~)

You must have some backyard... Looking really good. The colors and lighting are great but the nice composition is what sets it apart from the usual flower shot.

This is absolutely lovely. I like the way you have the background slightly out of focus, and I love the over all composition. Very nice job, indeed!

Love the title. It says it all. What needs to be in focus, is in focus. You did it perfectly and the color that creeps up from the interior of the bloom in focus is awesome. Perfectly executed. This one is a keeper.

Amazing & refreshing colours Sam!! Not crazy about the copyright size or placement. Purrrfect overall placement of the flora!! Simply surreal!!

I just love how the colours are so rich and clear at the front and fading out in the back...its all so very pastelly looking...the touch of yellow is magnetic. I wonder if they are iris or
if they are tulips..but either way, they are simply lovely!! a perfect shot my friend!!>.and since they are one of my fav. colours...Ive saved them into my FAVS and right onto my desktop for a week!...Verena
