I'm pretty sure that's what it is anyway. Taken on Saturday in Mooloolaba.

I love the gentle blues and grays and the rock formation beyond the bird mimics his outline. What an amazing capture!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I think that this guy enjoys being in front of the camera. He chose his "best side." The blues and grays are soft and gently appearing.

I didn't know you were attracted by birds captures, Sam. And you did it very well. Congrats :-)

Very nice Sam. I like the way the little guy blends into his surroundings. They can almost disappear when their coloring is so close to the surrounding ones.
Great capture.

Just perusing your gallery and found this mellow lil guy. I like the side view pose - his soft feathers and those fantastic yellow feet! That rock seems to be made for him and captures his shadow beautifully. The blurred blue water in the background is lovely - looks a bit like sparkling diamond bits. The soft blues and greys give this image a tranquil feeling. And the framing on the light grey works well with this image. Many thanks Sam !

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)
