This little honey-eater was quite at home in the hot house (they really needed one too, like it wasn't already warm and humid enough outside...). Haven't looked up what kind he is yet. *Update: It's a "Crimson Sunbird"*

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.

Wonderful composition. I like whatever is making the square patterned background. The colors are lusciously tropical and that bird is so beautiful.
