For those of you who think me lazy for not researching the names of all these specimens: The official Singapore Botanic Gardens website states there are over 10,000 species and 10,000 hybrids at the Orchid gardens. Another site states that the gardens contain over 60,000 individual plants. If you wanna try and figure out what this one is called, be my guest!

I think we can certainly enjoy the tremendous beauty of these wonderful orchids without actually knowing their names. Some of them are probably identified by only species and genus and we aren't likely to remember them anyway. The dof on this one is really nice.
