This was a little "beach" on Lake Tekapo, where we stayed on our second last night in NZ. As you can see it's a pretty desolate looking spot, picturesque but fairly isolated for such a small country... in fact the lady at the B&B told us the nearest ATM was in the next town 58 km's away... just as well they accepted credit cards!

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
You sure get around Sam nice picture blue of the lake is reflected in sky looks good.

Another great shot Sam., Desolate indeed. With the contrast between the bare land and this "paradise-like blue" lake, it looks almost surreal.

Desolate ... yes, but the aqua blue water makes this a lovely scene ... one I would want to explore more closely. Wonderful capture Sam.
