There are many different types of wattle; this one is a fairly small spiky variety. Normally they look pretty dull but not when they're flowering.

Hi Sam missed your work lately nice to see you posting again.
Must say you ticked all the right boxes with this picture color
light subject and DOF so nicely done but the yellow really makes the picture.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Great detail and true to life colour. this is one of those eye-opener photos that fills the screen with colour. Good stuff :)

Ahh-TISHoo !! - thats what they do to me - have 2 in our garden but its worth a few seasonal sneezes to see them flower.
