I recently took a trip to ND to help my family move out there. We went exploring at the Badlands, and were lucky enough to find a couple small herds of wild horses. It was amazing! I have always been a horse lover (own many of them) but it was so cool to see them outside of the safety of fences. Pictured here is a young colt, on it's right side is his momma, and left is the stud. I have more shots I'll upload as well, but this is my favorite! Enjoy!

Sara, absolutely love that sweet face and he sure is alert. Great detail and lighting. That would be so much fun to actually see wild horses. Boy I'd love to have that little fellow to take care of. I've had horses also, here is my Registered Morgon, Lady back in the 60'a

Beautiful work Sara. I have always had Morgan Horses . Our American Mustangs are a treasure ... one we should better care for.

There are several groups fighting for our Mustangs to remain wild and free instead of being rounded up by our government .... in the name of the BLM.
Mother Nature isn't always kind BUT when man gets involved it is rarely good for the animals. While I understand the concern of the Cattle ranchers over sharing pasture land ... we must find a common ground and not destroy a national treasure ... our Mustangs .

For those that have already been rounded up and auctioned off not all are in good responsible homes like the BLM wants us to believe . Many are ... many are not .

I have been in equine rescue for many years and have seen and rescued our Mustangs with the BLM brand on their necks . The least the BLM can do is enforce the laws by following the paths of those they have auctioned off .

Wild and Free ... Protect The Mustang !!

I completely agree! I actually owned a mustang that was brought into the BLM shortly after birth. I raised her and fully trained her, it was a great experience. So different than the "normal" horses! They really are amazing creatures.
