This was taken down at my Sister-in-Law's Dairy farm in South Alabama over the Thanksgiving holiday. I took many shots of the birth of this baby. From the time her head first crowned up until her fist steps. But I'm not sure about how they would be accepted by Caedesdians. Her mother is on the right and the 2 cows on the left gave birth that night. Funny how they all gathered together to help the baby take her first steps.

A newborn for Tick's Birthday....Happy Birthday old friend.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwe...that is sooooooooooo cute. I like how the other cows are showing care and concern. I heard from a dairy farmer that cows band together to share the duty of caring for the newborns. Excellent post.

I do like veal very much Opie. Just kidding. It reminds me of when Dumbo was born in the movie. All the other mother elephants loved it until they saw his ears. Trust me, I know that movie. The first steps are great to see.
Excellent capture and thanks for the Birthday wishes.

I for one wouldn't be offended by the beginning of life.

Well now ain't that cute. I have absolutely no farm experience in my lifetime, so I have never witnessed anything like this. It must have been something to see. Very nice shot, Paul. I'm glad you have shared this with us. This is one Caedes member that would love to see more. I like anything farm related, unless it's a pile of manure. LOL.
