A cold, foggy day in North Central Alabama down a country road found me this scene. Same spot as On The Edge, just a year ealier and with the Nikon.

UPDATE...I did decide on purchasing the Nikkor 18-55 VR lens after a free lens hood was thrown into the deal. Should have images with that lens after Christmas.

Paul, Both are superb captures and wonderful in color. I think the other has a bit of orton. I will just say I like them both. So you ended up just buying the lens I guess, I hear that is one superb lens and you should be happy with it. ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ =^..^=

First...Congrats on the Tide winning the SEC and going to the National Championship game. Second... What a great shot this is. Outstanding colors in the trees, and textures in that fence. Beautiful shot all the way around, Paul.

Stunning post Paul. It's like the warm fall colors on my screen are filling my house with a warm atmosphere. I realize that it will be over after selecting another post, the more it's a grey, wet, and stormy day in Holland now.
Thanks for some atumn 'sunshine'.
Regards, Cornelius.
