Over the last year or so, I have only been able to give you bits and pieces of Ballentrae Lake at Ballentrae Golf Club. Finally with the 18-55 lens I can give you the full view. I hope you enjoy.

So beautiful Opie. This is one of your best shots in my humble opinion. The dormant grass almost looks like sand. There must be a lot of Bermuda grass on your wonderful course. You are off and running with your new lens.

Oh Paul this is magnificent!! SO sharp, clear, wonderful colours. What a lovely place!! The stillness of the water and those absolutely perfect reflections make this a total winner. Very very nice. Verena

Stunning colours with the sandy tans breaking thru the centre of all that blue just perfectly. Nice use of the wedges from both sides also. A thoroughly enjoyable shot mate.

Excellent wide view of the lake. Captivating contrasts sandwiched between those clear skies and still waters. Golden winter grasses make me wonder about late afternoon lighting too. Thank you for sharing it.
