I like the 'tiered' effect and look. Add in the gentle leading lines of the banks/opposing shores ... indeed you guide the viewer's eyes well with your framing and composition of the setting.
Have a thought and suggestion ... I ... er, do have them at times :oD ... just kidding a bit ... for a companion image to this one. Lower perspective/camera position.
You captured a great quality in the water's surface. Colour as well. Might be interesting to see the results of segregating that element somewhat more.
