This is the tree by which by old childhood dog is buried. Her name was Pitchy and my dad carved her name into the tree. I just thought this was kind of....pretty, for lack of a better word.
Every mammel on the planet develops a natural balance or a certain equalibrium with the world around them but we humans do not, we move to an area and we multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way we can survive is to spread to another area. There is only one other organism on this planet that follows the same pattern, a virus. Human beings in the intrest of the planet are a desiese a cancer of this eath. (Kinda makes you proud dosen't it)
And why are you anxious about what to wear? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory is not arrayed like one of these.
- Matthew 6:28-29
Hi Catalina, this is a very touching story indeed, rather sad, but touching! Your shot of the tree tells it all! I have no words left except to say I am sorry you lost your little friend! I have two gorgeous shepards in my life and one, it was necessay to put her to sleep! So I know my friend what that was like! We had that pet for sixteen yrs! She had been a neighborhood mascot all those many yrs! Nice work on the image Honey! Sincerely, Marilyn
I would have liked to have seen you use some more contrasting textures and colours. I love the bark of trees - check, you got that ... the colour that is just peeking through on the right, IMHO, could have been expanded a little in the shot - hmm, three-quarters of a checkmark. Yes, I know or think that it is just some snow, but, it goes well in a monochromatic look and feel that is already present.
I take it you couldn't bear to move (geez, break?) the branch that falls across the image? No biggie, but, it is a small distraction to this memorial. 'Nuff said.
