I cannot believe this photograph has only scored 26 - I can only think that the viewers did not see what I am seeing - which is an excellent photo which would have been extremely well in the last contest on Negative Space with the dark shadow to the right - I think it would have been a winner. Well done and ignore the score. :)

The interesting lighting effect works very nicely. Perhaps the title should be "Partially Revealed".

I love low light! Some of my favorite shots are full of shadows and hidden areas. This is an exellent portrait, white overblown light to absolute darkness. My only problem is the cluttered shelf over your shoulder but a real pleasure to meet you.
