This is a photo of Skagway, Alaska. I took this photo from the front end or the fore ship of the cruise ship that I was on. This is about a few hours after the ship's arrival.
Alaska is the one place I would love to see in my lifetime. I love the mountains, as you could tell if you ever visit my favorites. I love this shot, not only because of the mountains but because of the buildings, which show they type of community I would love to live in. Reminds me of certain parts of Colorado. Thanks for sharing this great picture.
This just begs to be looked at in full size. I've never seen clouds hug mountains in this way. It's a wonderful view and what a great eye you have for composition. Thumbs up on this vista!
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Jow, like to inform you that a ship has not a front end but a 'fore ship' on which are the bow, deckhouse(s) and the (navigation) bridge. I would have clone out the antenna and the illumination cable. It would have improved your already fine image a lot. Good picture anyhow!
Regards, Cornelius.
