An attempt at acrylic paint. Obviously not my strong point, but I thought I would throw it out here and see what ya'll say about it. Please feel free to leave suggestions. Thanks!

This is a good effort! I like the composition, the colours are bright and lively, and the pose is engaging. The only criticism I would have is that the lefthand half of his upper lip doesn't seem quite right; apart from that this is a very nice piece of work.

Due to time pressures I can't always comment on images - but I appreciate them all the same.

This is a wonderful piece. Not often that I see non-digital work here and this makes a great desktop. I agree with above about the lip, although, I have seen little ones with that expression on their faces! Just the way that you catch their face that makes the lip almost disappear! Thanks for sharing and please keep them coming!

this is good work! I think that smoothing over some of the rougher areas is optional, but far from necessary. art is art, and you have succeeded in depicting a little boy's unyielding curiosity and excitement about the world. I hope that butterfly managed to survive the encounter :)

This is really nice, dear! I have been a painter for over 10 years and this is really good. I have learned that a painting may not seem good to the artist that painted it, but to others it is really good. The cool thing about art is, there is no "right way" to do it. Each person has their own style, and I envy your ability to paint people. I can paint anything, but not a human being! Great job, I hope to see more artwork.....OF ANY KIND.....from you. Thanks for sharing!

I can`t paint at all, I`m strictly digital but can appriciate the work that must have went into this. I think this is a realy well proportinioned (I have spent about 5mins looking at the top lip and think it`s ok)image and your use of colour is excellent. Wish I could do something like this.
