Very pretty. It reminds me of one of those textured/patterned velvets you sometimes see used for children's party clothes (or used to) or, in heavier weights, for curtains and cushions.
I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
I know a little of what it took to create this flame ... 'tweaking' really being the operative word.
Before I forget ... tip time.
In the render window, make sure you have "Postprocess render" checked/enabled ... found on the "Settings" tab. This allows you to make any last minute adjustments with contrast, brightness and a couple of other variables. Can be invaluable and save you a re-render ... I know, lol.
It will present itself to you, the postprocess render window that is ... once your flame is completed. Either make changes ... click "Apply" and then review those changes, and when satisfied click "Save".
Nice work Bonnie. Seems that 'we' have created a monster. :oP
