Very nice! That purple looks fantastic against the orange of that pumpkin. The two contrasting textures of the satin and the pumpkin is also very good. Well done.
Great lighting with that shadow falling on the pumpkin. The sheen of the fabric makes this a first rate "Still Life". Vivid and attractive color combination. All in all ... a captivating post.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Lovely and colour drenched! There's something about those two colours together, especially against the black... really outstanding. And the natural light falling across the pumpkin and silky fabric is scrumptious.

Wow Bonnie, this is brilliant!! It's a shame to see that something different has got the usual low C-index, but I think this is great. Odd for me too, the purple suggest Silk Cut soooo strongly (I gave up smoking two years ago). Such an unusual combination, and great light! Dead good!!!
