A replica of a vessel for holding liquid found in the Iron Age and still a popular rustic design today.

This one was sitting snugly against the rampart wall and gate tower at the Eceni Village I visit, in amongst the nettles and plants.

The 'woven' looking wood to one side is the gatehouse and that technique is known as 'Wattle'.

A cool looking vessel but dont touch! I hate those nettles. I have only seen these in museums. A nice and beautiful shot for sure!

This is realy a great find for a shot. I like the different textures, the muted earthy colors and the lines. Great eye and shot!
