Last of a small set of flower macros, taken on a lunchtime walk soon after the rain had stopped. This is a fuchsia, but I don't know the variety. Morrab Gardens, Penzance, 16th July '04.

Beautiful shot! I like the colours, the shading from white to pink against the green background.

Great shot! Wonderfuly clarity in this photo and the contrast between the background and the flowers brings out the soft pinks and purples in the petals. Well done!

What an amazing flower. Nothing like that around here, lol.
Just beautiful. Nice Macro, crisp, clean, and I love the composition. Great call.

Thank you all. I nearly didn't take the camera with me that day as it was raining when I left home - I'm glad I changed my mind and went back for it :-)

How did you darken the background so consistently in the 3 Morrab garden shots? They are all great shots. The pinks in this one are so delicate. Love them all. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Alexis :-) The BGs are dark because I was using flash and underexposing to prevent the FG being washed out. And it's always a pleasure to share with the appreciative folk on caedes :-)

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross
