Sunlight streams through the mist and reflects off a wet leaf in the nearest thing to a rainforest we have in Cornwall, the Humid Tropics biome at the Eden Project.

I really like this. The colors are rich in this light and the bright highlights doesn't disturb me at all. The mist makes a potentially messy background very interesting instead. You manage to give the composition a graphical simplicity that I enjoy quite much. I like the title too but would like to add one thing: Light + Water + Time = Life ^_^
10 from me. I love the localized light and the "occaisional" color. It's just beautiful, Simon, and you framed it perfectly. I can't believe how beautiful the misty light looks on something as prosaic as a leaf!
The illusion created with the water and the light created a mysterious image. Not scary though :)..this is a fantastic capture Simon. Well done my friend :))
I'm amazed that you could capture that fine misty haze digitally! The play of light in the highlights and shadows is spectacular as is the color. A big well done, Simon.
Very beautiful. I'm assuming this wasn't taken with a time exposure by the stillness of it all. I wonder what it would have looked like if you had, but I really enjoy this as well. Great image.
