It's a dull, damp Easter Monday in Cornwall, so here's a dull, damp picture to go with it - one from last year that I wasn't happy with, reworked with better software. This line of trees in Cardinham Wood seem to forbid entry to the valley beyond.......

I really like this Simon. The mist gives a sense of a mythical landscape almost. (Maybe I'm wired but mist makes me feel like that.) The balance of the composition with those ridges sloping down towards the valley is perfect and draws me into the landscape. I understand what you mean with the title but I still feel rather tempted to go beyond those trees and explore what that mist hides from me.

That mist looks like a real soaker. Very good composition with the convergence of the hills.

Thanks Klas and Alexis. This one reminds me of fantasy or children's story - I think the tree just right of centre matches an illustration I can half remember, except it doesn't have eyes....

This is terrific photography. It's hard to capture such scenes maintaining the sharpness while keeping the fog as the primary focus. Well done!
