These little drops show just how water-repellent a seagull's feather is, even after the seagull has finished with it. Par Beach, 18th Feb '06.

I love the subject you captured here. The composition is spot on too. I'm not 100% happy with the exposure though, could be my screen, but some spots are too bright for my taste. You know me, can't keep my mouth shut... ;) Did you sharpen this too? I sense some low grade artefacts that could come from that or heavy cropping. A one stop faster shutter, or something of that sort, to narrow the field of depth and make the exposure a bit darker with fuller, richer shadows could very well do the trick here (for me :P).

Simon,
the droplets look like pearls or crystal balls. Delightful image for ordinary women and witches, too LOL
Many thanks.

Fabulous image. I love how the water droplets magify an already beautifully magnified image. This one goes right to my favorites!

Wow the detail in the focus is amazing. I like how you were able to captuer the light refracted through the droplets and the magnification of the grains of sand. You certainly have an eye for detail.

Yeah man. The image is so detailed, focused and crisp. The reflection and the magnification of the water drops and the refinement of EVERY little thing. Well... I could go on and on. This is the wallpaper on my work desktop and home desktop. I think this my fave of all the Caedes shots.
