This is an outcropping of bedrock situated in the middle of Louisville Swamp in the Minnesota River Valley. This spot is inaccessible, except in winter, when the swamp is mostly frozen.

I like stones with their varied colors in the foreground, the trees that extend up into the sky and the light in the picture. The only thing that bothers me is the footprints in the snow. But that's just my humble opinion. Good job Steve.
