I read an interesting thing about leaves and color.
I always thought they changed color because they were dying.
Turns out that beautiful color is always there, but hidden by the chlorophyll. In the fall, the trees draw the chlorophyll out of the leaves, and then you see the color that was there all along. Something to think about.
