A memorial is held every year in Fredericksburg, Virginia on Memorial Day for the nation's troops and those that have given their lives for the Country.

With the lights endlessly filling the background this image should give everyone a moment of reflection for the sacrifices made by the men and women of all nations for their countries. A bit of straightening might have been in order but still very powerful -

Sad that we still have not yet learned the lessons of the past, and continue to believe waging war creates security and peace. So much more would be achieved through respect and self-respect, dialogue and communication. Such a waste of life - sad but beautiful post. Thank you for sharing.

there's no money in dialogue and respect, that's why there are still wars, and always will be. on topic, nice picture, didn't realize that it was such a big field :(
