I Agree with Neamh. The best quality is taken off with the over contrasted area of the pic. Cropping the pic might do some good or you can adjust the over all brightness in the dark areas to balance. But this shows that you have the basit idea and the eye for it. Keep on capturing and you will learn pretty fast. Good job!
I agree with the above comments, you could actually crop off the bright area without losing the effect of the light rays. You may even find they are more effective without the brightness to compete with. Looking forward to "Light #2"!
