This is basically your typical solar flare effect (i.e. using lens flares and then twirl filters) but with the hue changed and then glowing edges. Quite simple really. I was just doing a bit of experimenting really.

Well, once you change the colors it doesn't look like a solar flare anymore. In my opinion it would have been better to make it look like an original solar flare.

A very unique design. I really like the 'ghostly' feel to it. I say that mainly referring to the outter parts of the design. The colors are very vivid and 'electrifying' especially the reds. Just a very imaginative and colorful design throughout. Great work Phil!

I like this piece a lot. I kept looking and looking at it, and after awhile, it begins to spiral within itself...very mesmerizing!

Nice job - great colours. It makes me think of some sea-creature, lurking in the dark depths and grabbing, grasping, reaching for unwary passers-by...
