abstract
I was going to make something different from this, however I stopped at this point because I preferred it. It's quite visually busy, so some people, especially who are looking for wallpapers, might not like it, but I think it's an interesting piece. If anyone thinks it'll look better in a different colour please say, because I wasn't sure what colour looked best.

Beautiful background, I love the sci-fi feel. I do have one suggestion though. Maybe it's just me, but I see a dragon in this image. It's just the head, but to me it stands out. He's upside down though... If you could rotate this 180 degrees you could see him better. Great image headed to my favs...

We live in awe of that which we cannot see.
Very atmospheric. The dark colouring reduces the "busyness" really - and I'm not averse to busy desktops anyway - and gives is a dark, gloomy feeling with something like a touch of doom.
It makes me think of the role of "the Church" in some of Mercedes Lackey's fantasy/sci-fi novels - not the institution as it should be (and as parts of it are), but the institution as twisted by corruption and human weakness, greed and ambition. I think it's that some of the shapes remind me of cathedral windows/doors.
