More from the other night. Canon 30D 17-40mm 'L' 17mm, RAW, f/4.0, 13 sec shutter, 0 ev, ISO 100 When I had my Tamron 19-35mm i was often upset at the noise/sharpness issues I often had with long exposures. This particular lens does not exhibit those issues. It is pretty sharp @ f/4 too, though 5.6 and higher is noticeably better when magnified.

The sky is a little bland for a portrait shot in my view. I like the foreground rocks.
