These birds were eating the berries from the trees. I had only a moment to shoot a few quick ones with the 400mm. I didn't get to use the remote switch so they are not as crisp as I'd like, but then again I look at everything at 100% magnification sooooo. Hope you like them!!

It is a very lovely picture,nice colors and very nice blue sky too.

The color in this image is really dynamic. I think I might have liked it better in landscape format. Nice action catching the little fella nibbling. His head is nice and sharp. It would have been nice if some of that bright sunlight had caught his little eye. The little bits of snow are a nice touch. A lovely shot John. anne :-)
