I only wish this shot was more aligned with the rails above, though that may have taken away from the drama of the angled light. Regardless, this was a great capture.

When I was there, the pope was speaking in Latin! It was really cool but I couldn't understand a thing he said!

This is a great view of the barrel vaulted ceilings. Although the image is dark, the light coming through helps things. Very nicely done.

I visited there as well, and I thought St. Peters Basilica was directly outside the Vatican City, adjacent to it.

A decent shot. There's better pics of St. Peter's out there -- more clear, less blurry. As for the basilica, this is the most beautiful work of art that man has produced. St. Peter's is a true testament to the beauty of God and the wonder of Christ.
