i really like this for a number of reasons, everything is ying yang, a ballance, you have the red then in contrast green, the velvety texture of the delicate flower in contrast to the prickley nature of the cactus, nature at its best demonstrating its complexities, beautiful!!! we need more shots like this. beautiful work mariana..

Anna - The cacti blooms are beautiful. The indirect backlighting gives the petals a bit if a glow, which is very nice. The lighting at the top of the image is too bright, in my opinion. I might suggest using a post-photo graduated neutral density filter to tone it down a little. Thad
