Personally, I hate spiders .. anywhere in the house .. they are dead .. mostly because every time they bite me I get a swelling bump :/
Took this photo in the flower garden .. it was a spider which I have not seen before. Due the the size and the dense web around it, I am thinking if it's a female with eggs? Although I thought it was gross, now I think I like its black and yellow stripes :)

Your critiques and comments are always appreciated!

P.S. I let this spider live .. ;)

I hate them, too, but this one looks nice, colorful. You made very good shot.

Cute little insect. I don't like them very much, but this one is really beautiful. It has nice colors.

I don't hate them neither like them. Very good macro shot. Since the spider looks upside down I tried to rotate this image 180 degrees. The result looked better for me. ;)

Mariana - Spiders may not be a favorite animal, but, your close up capture does give it beauty. Thad

This is a garden orb spider.quite common in the USA....it hangs upside down, pulsates web when it senses a victim.........to increase catch area........always looks fat.male is smaller and not usually seen on the web.............likely it mates and disappears.
