Thought I'd enter this in the b/w challenge. It's a local farm just outside of town. I used a pencil sketch effect on it from Smart photo editor.

I have a bunch of these "artistic" settings, Carol. I typically avoid all of them except for the occasional use of watercolor, but you've used the pencil sketch to create an interesting border. Never thought of that before. Sometimes I miss the Midwest. I have some photos from my trip back to Illinois a few years ago. This shot has inspired me to take a look at them and see what I have.

Carol, you've used an original approach for 'vignetting' this very fine B&W image ('vignetting' between quotes is in fact the by you called 'pencil sketch effect' to achieve a fine border).
