What do you suppose this old sign said? It has been there a long time and withstood plenty of weather it seems.

If they raised crops, it was probably an old seed company sign. If they raised critters, it was probably a no hunting/trespassing sign.
Now, both sign and fencing are simply a rustic part of the landscape ... and an inspiration for one very special artisan photographer.

Carol, it could be: 'Beware of the bull', because the owner of this barbed wire fence knows that it's no longer in a solid state, so preventing any damage claims.
See however that the text meanwhile is gone, and therefore hope that the bull is gone away too, ☺ .
