The loneliness of the barn exudes a very special atmosphere in this composition, Carol. Although I 'hate' the Rule of Thirds because it's mostly used as a dogma instead as an advice or guideline, I like to say however that it fits in your composition very well. Very good and lovely post again!

Living in North Dakota I have always had a strong appreciation for the way that corns rows telegraph the lay of the land below their leaves. I have seen several small, high-cupola field barns like this in my state that are used either for harvesting equipment or temporary crop storage. Nice composition, Carol, with the barn to one side and the corn rows leading our eye that way.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
