I've been enjoying looking at these images of yours and suddenly wondered - have you ever fallen out of the boat while photographing them? ( or almost)?

Almost once or twice and recently a boat driver started a bit too suddenly and I lost one of my lenses over the side - I guess you could call it a fish eye now. :)

Thanks A.M. They are fishing boats from the tgurn of the 19th/20th century. They are called Couta Boats after the rather bony Barracouta fish they used to catch. They had a tradition of racing back to harbour. First boat back got the best prices.
