Thanks Henry. I was using a Canon 10D set at 1/90th (I forgot to bring a tripod, so it was propped on a post), The light was fading fast, iy was about 5-10 minutes after sunset. ISO 200, 100-400 lens set at 400mm and f5.6 with exposure compensation at +1 (I think this was more by accident than design). The image at 1600 x 1200 is a bit more than half its original size.
