Ah. That's MUCH better without the underwear ad. Now, I can focus on everything else in the beautiful photo. ;) I'm glad you reposted.

The previous shot had an underwear advertisement on the right - about 70 submissions back. The city is Melbourne - the building in the foreground is Flinders St. Station. Have you ever noticed that the tallest buildings in a city are where the most power lies. When my mother was a child this was one of the tallest buildings.

Nice work Steb! Really lets you focus more on the great lighting in the sky and amber tones that are so vivid on the building:-)

Great picture! But we have taller buildings on my planet..;-)... We also build them under the ground and use mirrors to manipulate a feeling of beeing on the surface...
Good Work on this!

*lol* bjb. Well, I shan't deny the 'no underwear' caught my attention [cough]. I really do prefer this to the other tho. Better composition in terms of resolution and framing. The zooming 'transparency' effect of the 2 trams is surreal~! Big up.

Quite a poetic shot here...you've managed well to capture the flavor of the city...takes more than a keen eye...excellent!

This deserve a much higher rating than it has received. I luv underware....(dang) I mean I love photos of cities at night, There is always so much in them to explore...streets, buildings etc. This is sharp and focused and will well send you on your way, able to see clearly as you run about. Pat
