Spent the day in Tasmania yesterday looking at houses built to be environmentally friendly. Snapped this view late in the day in a town called Cygnet - three shots joined together.

Thanks Gaz/Icenine. The composition was easy. It was just sitting there and this was all that was available between the trees on the shore. The detail - well it helps to put several photo's together so you end up with more pixels that by simple cropping one photo. It helps to improve the contrast and sharpen slightly in Photoshop, but at the end of the day my little A$200 28-90mm is very good as long as it is not wide open. And even so I am saving for a 24-70, which everyone tells me is a sharp as can be.

Wish I were there. great capture and I like the long narrow. You've cropped out all the useless and distracting parts of the image. My Respects.

Excellent photo, Steb. I'm normally not a fan of borders, but it works well here.
