There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but the view is always the same.
Chinese Proverb........I think you'll really like Chinese Lion. roar.
Thats an awesome shot, I wonder how you got it? From an airplane? helicopter? Also, WHY is there no lighthouse to warn ships of those rock formations? one could surely get trapped in there and never come out..
Thanks for the comment Verena, I was in a helicopter. There are some lighthouses along that coast and it used to be known as the shipwreck coast. A famous wreck happened in the gorge and only two people survived - a young woman passenger and the young crewman who recued her and then climbed out and found help.
Now the lighthouses mostly don't operate. Everyone uses GPS.

Amazing capture! I absolutely love this image and the story on the website about the area. I can find not a thing to be improved upon in this image. Great work. 10/10 and into the favorites
This is gorgeous!!!
The rock in the middle looks like a whale to me.
What a tragic story in such a beautiful place.
I'm still new at Caedes, so I'm really enjoying seeing pictures and hearing stories about people and places all around the world.
It looks to me like "Dragon Coast" where Dragons are born, I can already see "2" and it was love at first sight. I dLoaded this one a couple of years back (one of my first from Caedes) I just now came back to pay my respects, And giving this a 10! VBooth or not! a H.U.G.E. "Thank you" from- Kapoho,Hawaii
