What a dramatic scene. I just had this in VB and gave it high marks. I had to go find it. Hope everyone stayed safe.

Nice to meet you Steb. Faved.

How tragic, my prayers go out to all those who might be involved. Just gave it high marks in VB and I also put it directly in my fav's. A nice reminder we must not forget just how fragile our lives & surroundings are. Stay safe.

What a scary image. It looks as though the smoke has only let some sunlight filter through and made the whole scene this peach color. What a view you captured of the approaching fire.

I also follow what happens on the other side of the World as I have dear freinds there. May the Lord protect you.

Such a terrible tragedy Steb. You were very close it appears. We of course have been following events here in NZ. One day our skies were just like this as the smoke hid the sun. I hope it is over although I hear there are still dangerous fires.
This is a very dramatic image.

I have enjoyed viewing your gallery - you are a fine photographer. I visited Melbourne and Phillip Island last November so recognised some places.
