Oh neat-0. Look at all that pollen lying around. Beautiful and indeed you do need a bee or something sitting on all that landing space. What beautiful trim this has all the way around the pedals. Great post from the "Flower Professional".

Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
The color's so thick in here you could cut it with a knife
personally speaking, I've never been a fan of bees on flowers .. uh .. from a photography point of view .. I'll allow them to do that whole pollenation thing .. later, after the shot, union or no union

Catchy title. It fits well with such excellent work.
The looks...rigged, but the iamge itself is amazing. The colous (being British for the day) pop out just perfectly and the depth of field couldn't be better. Also, the bokeh is particularly pleasing. What lens did you use and what was the f/stop?
Hi Chip, this is fantastic, what a marvelous display of rich color! I love images strong with color and full of spirit! This image has all of that and more! It's clarity is remarkable giving the the flower the entire stage! I saw it on the front page and was immediately attracted to it's exciting expression of the deep rich bronz hue!! Very nice job Chip! Have a great spring day! Sincerely, Marilyn
What a spectaculair photo!
The light is fantastic.
What about the aperature, do you shoot a photo like this also at higher f numbers to get more detail or did this one come out best?
