MARVELOUS close up capture you have here Susan. Those are really magnificent looking elephants. Wonderful colours, clarity, detail and composition. You sure were at the right place at the right time, love seeing them play.

Much of the beauty in life is found in people who care.
Great image. Can you add more detail in the caption for my interest...? The elephants are in super sharp focus. Must have been a quick shutter speed. But also a bright image full of light. Call me a 'nerd' :-) but do you know what the camera settings were when taking this? A good camera must help as well. I hope you find the perfect picture at some point. This is a damn good one.
