The bokeh, or blurred background allows your viewers to focus on the portrait of the goose. Composed well, too.
Caveats?
As I am not sure which image editing program you might have or is at your disposal, I will simply suggest looking into adjusting the colours somewhat. Specifically, lessening the blues and bringing up the whites in turn.
As well, if I may be so bold ... and again, I am not sure which camera you are using and I am aware of the difficulty of capturing a good animal shot ... the DOF you employed with your image here? Maybe a little more experimentation next time?

The reason I bring the aforementioned topic up is that the goose's beak is really nice and sharp and draws my eye more so than the goose's actual eye. (It might be because of the way the light hits the goose as well. Not sure.)

Alllll that nonsense of mine aside, please ... know that this is indeed a good shot.
