Thanks you guys. I appreciate your comments. Though, I do wish if ppl think it's at best a 5 in rating...that they would tell me how to make it better. : )
this is quite amazing Tracy. very evocative, moody and powerful.
It makes me think of 'ophelia' from Hamlet... when she is drowning. The paleness of her face and this clothing floating reinforce that impression.
The different elements, like the moon and the bird and the contrasted (and limited) colors adds something really interesting and give a nice, if a little bit disturbing, dark atmosphere.
the white flowers are nice too, the only thing is that it would have worked better if they were not placed in perspective but more like if they were floating...
Thanks Cain. I truly appreciate your honesty. I had actually never thought of her floating in water - but rather kind of flying up, hence the reason the flowers were passing her as she lifts. But, I feel that I might have to do one in water with another model now! :D Thanks for the idea!
Yes, I agree Pierre. I think it would have fit better with the theme. With possibly a slight glow to her face as well. Thanks for the suggestion. I actually do like it when ppl tell me how I could make an image better. That's what helps me learn! : )
In my opinion , you might improve the eyedirection and focus if you had the face ( is that Your face?) facing the center of the picture. Who knows maybe you just need to do something else. Really though it think its outstanding, i like the topographical graph in the left. Amazing idea. Looks like a dream.
