Hehe... I'm a rust fan too... That must be a Chevy logo, right? The cropping / framing is a bit on the extreme side for me but maybe I'm just a spoilsport now. ^_^ I like it as a graphical environment for the photo but it doesn't make it to my desktop (but surely my HD). (It would work better on the wall. (I intended that as a compliment but I'm not sure it got through. ^_^))
Ok ..here's my shot at this picture. It's of a Chevrolet model 50 dumptruck purchased from Vandergrift Chevrolet in Arlington Tx.
The object in the top left of the image is the mount for the passenger side rear-view mirror, the 'shape' on the right side of the image is the rear of the hood.
Original *cough* blue paint.
Close?
Wonderful shot, well framed and presented. Thanks!
I love those shining logos against all that rust! Great detail piece you've chosen here too, you've thrown it so far off center and the sweeping curves of the body, without the silver it would seem very abstract
I really like this one. It has a strong appeal to it. I really like the lay out. It will work well on my desktop do to the amount of icons I have on it.
I find it astonishing that no matter how much time I spend around this place (and I do spend ALOT) I still manage to miss things like this. The perspective and framing are so clever in this shot, but I think it's the color that makes it for me. I don't even mind the black border!
