I want to start a non-profit digital design company. nothing major. This is an idea I'm working on for my logo.

Logos are tricky. For a start you want to be able to reproduce them on many different types of media, such as teeshirts, mugs, stationary, as well as websites and desktops. For this reason, most logos are simple
The name should be either the logo, or separate. Take Caedes. A nice simple logo and a name, not just a word but slightly altered with a good interesting font. Making the name part of a complex design does not help. The name is also important. RMC designs is practical but lacks imagination, which is probably not the impression you want to give.
