I had recently posted this picture of St. John's in the Wilderness, but it had a sure sign of civilization in it - hydro wires. So, I took some suggestions and got rid of them. Now it looks better. Thanks to those who gave me the idea.

You were right to take the suggestions, and to do it so very well. This makes a beautiful shot even more perfect . Nice job :)

Fantastic editing work. Not easy to remove signs of civilization ;).

You're right, Cindy. It certainly is. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks! I've learned so much in the short time I've been here. Thanks to all who offered suggestions.

Great shot Terry. I know from my own experience in Massachusetts how difficult it can be to get such a shot without heavy powerlines intruding, but this is pristine. I also much like the way the colour of the small tree on the left "lifts" the final effect.

My god girl, you've done a wonderful job! I'm completely blown away - superb editing work! How'd you do it?! ... favourites gallery (I loved the first version regardless of lines, you've simply smartened up an already beautiful shot). Great work :)

I didn't get to see the first shot but I'd like to give you a thumbs up for this work of art. The contrast of colors and composition are great. I also like the contrast in the lines and edges of the constructed subjects against the trees and shrubs. Only thing that would have made it perfect is natural sunlight. Wonder if you could "fake" the exposure in PS (either with the highlights/shadows or exposure features.) Anyway, it's great as it stands. Blessings, anne :-)

I just found this and it's so beautiful. The white church and the gorgeous leaves on the tress are amazing. Very nice. No one would ever know there used to be wires.

How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus
